On a rainy night, after day 1 performances were complete, Kenrod attempted to drive a short distance to visit his family for his birthday dinner. But he never made it. It was a phone call that dropped us to our knees and emptied the tears from our eyes. The meeting rooms at the event are meant for simple team meeting points and stretching…not a place to gather and learn that your teammate had just passed away in a tragic accident. Nfinity ultimately took the floor on day 2 to honor Kenrod. The venue was standing room only and not a dry eye in the house. The entire industry knew what happened by that day, and the love transcended the names on any uniform.
